  1. Hi,

I am the original owner, known lead player who is looking for my 65 delx rev. blk face. It is Fair – to Good condition, electronics were revamped by myself and It has an Altec 8xx 12” Spkr vs. stock Fender spkr. Missing since 2005. I was in Europe, Hospitalized for years and unable to function, let alone track its whereabouts all this time.

The 65 Delx-Revb was auctioned off at a Major PS storage facility in Mt. Sinai, LI NY 11766 time-frames approx… 2005-06 (I can produce auction date).

I am gigging and some studio work again and heart broken over the loss of this amp. I owned the amp since 1970 and all I can ask of you is if you have any idea as to its whereabouts I am offering a substantial reward, and would even be willing to buy it back at a reasonably fair price. I can even offer to barter my talents…
No cops, no insurance deal, no questions, no complications, no BS whatsoever….I greatly miss this amp, and I am still devastated over its loss. Actually I also lost another amp Yamaha G50-12, Home brew extension 12″ cabinet with an Altec, over 2000 albums, recorders, and mixers.
I was able to accept the reality of losing them, but this amp was a part of my life on the road and in the studio.
This amp was a part of me. Hopefully I may find a blessed person who may be able to help me out, even at this late time since its auction.

I really appreciate your time and any help or possible solution you may be able to provide. If it’s not a problem, could you please forward this email on to others who may be able to help me out?

    Thanks greatly for your help.
    Kindest Regards

  3. Just out of curiosity, how much would an amp like this really go for? My father has one just like it, in as good of shape as this one, also all original but for the 3-prong plug.

  4. I have the same exact amp. It was a gift to me when I was a kid from the original owner who got it when he was a kid. There’s a little crackling at times and I thing the speaker might have a rip in it. It’s all original, never been messed with. I been trying to find out what an amp like is an amp like this worth?

  5. couple thou $$ dogs! drink up and set her aside for another 20 years and LIGHTS OUT!!

  6. I have 1965 Blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp, AB762 Tube chart, Stamped date code of OH (which means production number of “#6”) , Front and back panels read “Fender Musical Instruments” post-CBS, Back panel has Columbia spelled with an “o” insteaad of a “u”
